VANCOUVER 2010 - Five British moments to remember
From James Toney, Sportsbeat, in Vancouver
1. Amy Williams

It would not seem unreasonable to fill this list with Amy Williams's first run, second run, third run, fourth run and medal presentation - but that just wouldn't be fair, although it certainly would be easier.
There is no doubt who was the star of these Games for Great Britain.
The girl nicknamed curly wurly was left feeling distinctly topsy turvy after becoming the first British individual medallist since Robin Cousins claimed the men's figure skating title in Lake Placid 30 years ago.
As one wag joked, she took up the sport for a bit of a laugh and was left giggling all the way to gold - and the bank, with reports suggesting she is about to cash in on her Olympic success.
An MBE is expected to follow and she's the early favourite for the Sports Personality of the Year Award. A debut appearance on Question of Sport can't be far away either.
Stopped by one British fan for a picture in Whistler, over a week after her victory, she chatted happily before pulling her gold medal out of her pocket for him to hold.
Let's hope she remains so charmingly grounded and down to earth.

More British medals - a solution
Perhaps the answer is to launch the "Winter Commonwealth Games". Canada would still top this medals table, even more emphatically. However, we might at least be more competitive among other nivally challenged countries.
