GREAT Britain super heavyweight Anthony Joshua will have a shot for gold after he made the final at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Joshua became Team GB's third male finalist - the first time since 1956 - after beat Kazakhstan's Ivan Dychko 13-11 and will now face Italy's Roberto Cammarelle - who is reigning Olympic champion.
The 22-year-old paid tribute to the crowd and dedicated the win to his boxing skipper and good friend Tom Stalker, who was controversially knocked out without medalling.
GOLDEN BOY: Anthony Joshua won against Kazak boxer Ivan Dycho and will now box for gold on Sunday
"I've dedicated this win to Tom Stalker," said Joshua.
"Once again that was the best atmosphere I've ever boxed in. Everything paid off and I was determined to get the win.
"Cammarelle is a great fighter with a rangy jab and I'm happy everything has come together. I will be ready for the Italian in Sunday's final. I'm buzzing but I have to ride the steady rollercoaster."
